Fall is upon us and holiday travel is getting planned. We just entered what we call, The Season of Stowe - not to be confused with the season of snow, but that's coming soon too.

Fall Foliage

Fall leaves are just beginning to drop, changing our dramatic landscape into a Bob Ross painting. Leaf peeping season is among us! Last year we curated our top five foliage drives, a must for awwwe dropping scenery. Stowe even hosts a Foliage Arts Festival in early OctoberTravel + Leisure agrees, Stowe is a great place to quench your foliage peeping urge. Stowe even has it's own Fall Foliage Finder, tracking the status of foliage around the area in near real-time.

Stowe Mountain

Our mountains are set to open soon! Rooms do tend to fill up faster when the snow is falling. Get ahead of the crowds and book now. Here is the projected opening date:

  • Stowe: Nov. 18

Vail announced it will be reducing capacities on their mountains, including Stowe, to try and help alleviate parking mayhem.

Good thing we have a shuttle stop at our hotel! You can buy passes to the mountain here, prices go up Oct. 8th.

Travel + Leisure

Earlier this year Travel + Leisure named Stowe one of the best small towns in America. Thanks T+L! Just like Travel + Leisure curated their listicle, we did our work too. We've curated a list of our favorite things to do during the next couple months. Take a look and let us know if we missed anything!

We grew up in Stowe and love sharing it with you. We treat our guests like family and we hope to share a slice of our life with you this holiday season.
