HOTEL POLICIES

By reserving a room at the Sun & Ski Inn and Suites, you automatically agree to the following policies:

RATES AND FEES

All rates published on this site and elsewhere are subject to a 10% service fee and 10% sales tax. Our rates are based on two-person occupancy (or on four-person occupancy when indicated).  All rates and fees are subject to change without notice.

DEPOSIT AND CANCELLATION POLICY

A 7-day cancellation notice is required on all reservations April -Sept 21, 2024 and 14 days notice is required during Sept 20-Oct 19th, 2024 and January-March, 2025 (30 days over Holiday and special event periods) in order to receive a refund on your deposit. Otherwise you will forfeit your deposit.

A deposit of one night’s rent plus tax and service fee will be charged to your credit card after you make your reservation. Over Holiday and special event periods (to be designated by the Sun & Ski Inn and Suites) a deposit of fifty percent of your total amount is required.

We guarantee your reservation for the entire time reserved. If you arrive after your scheduled arrival date, you forfeit your deposit. Payment in full is due at time of arrival. If you depart before your scheduled departure date, no refund will be provided.

We reserve the right to cancel or modify reservations where it appears that a customer has engaged in fraudulent or inappropriate activity or under other circumstances where it appears that the reservations contain or resulted from a mistake or error. (We’re human and do make honest mistakes sometimes, sorry.) 

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT POLICY

Check-in is after 3 pm, or 4 pm for the condos. The balance of your stay will be charged to the credit card on file the morning of your arrival. Check-out is 11 am for rooms and suites, and 10 am for condos. A message/email will be sent the morning of your check-in which you will be given the opportunity to process the registration card on-line, if not, you are welcome to stop by the front desk upon arrival with a valid photo ID after 3 pm or 4 pm for the condos. Once your registration is signed, you will be handed your welcome package which includes your room keys, welcome letter and receipt of your stay.  For those that sign the registration card on-line, your welcome package will be put in the black mailbox outside the front door after 3 pm, or 4 pm for the condos.

PAYMENT POLICY

The balance of your stay is charged to the credit card on file on the morning of your arrival. If you leave early, you will not be refunded the balance of your stay. If you arrive after your scheduled arrival date, you forfeit your deposit.

SMOKING POLICY

All guest rooms and public areas are non-smoking. A cleaning fee of at minimum $100 will be charged to guests who violate this policy. 

DAMAGE POLICY

You are liable for any damage howsoever caused to the allocated room(s) or to the Sun & Ski Inn and Suites property by you or any persons in your party (whether or not staying at our hotel) during your stay. Sun & Ski Inn and Suites reserves the right to retain your credit card and/or debit card details and charge or debit such amounts as it shall in its sole discretion deem fit on the said card(s) to compensate or make good the loss, damage, costs or expenses incurred or suffered as a result thereof. Sun & Ski Inn and Suites further reserves the right to commence legal proceedings against you without notice.

The Sun & Ski Inn and Suites will not be responsible for loss or damage of property left in your room and/or the Sun & Ski Inn and Suites property during your stay. Guests are advised to obtain insurance to cover curtailment, and loss of luggage, personal effects, damages, personal injuries and money/valuable belongings. 

PET POLICY

We are a pet-friendly hotel, but NO pets are allowed in our condominiums at Mountainside Resort or on that property. All pets must be declared upon check-in. Failure to do so will result in a $25 fee per pet. You accept full responsibility for any damage done by the pet to the guestroom or other Sun & Ski Inn and Suites property. The Sun & Ski Inn and Suites reserves the right to cancel your reservation without refund of funds if your pet causes an inconvenience to other guests or staff. You accept full responsibility for any and all liability; claims, losses, costs and expenses (including attorney fees) for personal injury caused by your pet.  For the safety and comfort of our guests and staff, all pets must be kept on a leash or in a crate while in public areas inside or enjoying the outside property. Pets are not permitted in the Pool/Spa area, Fitness room or Stowe Bowl. Guests are responsible for cleaning up their own pet waste by using the bags and designated receptacles made available.

Sun & Ski Inn and Suites is committed to protecting the environment, the health and safety of our employees, and the community in which we conduct our business. It is our policy to seek continual improvement throughout our business operations to lessen our impact on the local and global environment by conserving energy, water and other natural resources; reducing waste generation; recycling; and reducing our use of toxic materials. We are committed to environmental excellence and pollution prevention, meeting or exceeding all environmental regulatory requirements, and to purchasing products which have greater recycled content with lower toxicity and packaging, that reduce the use of natural resources.
