STOWE ALPINE SKI PLANNER

Sheltered by the highest mountain in Vermont with a summit that peaks at 4,395 feet, Stowe was named a “Top 10 Ski Towns in America” and “The Aspen of the East” by Forbes and USA Today respectively. For nearly a century, visitors have traveled from around the globe to create cherished memories with friends and family that span multiple generations. Averaging over 300 inches of snow annually, Mt. Mansfield boasts 116 ski trails and 13 lifts with a gondola that connects the resort’s two mountains, Mount Mansfield and Spruce Peak.

Imagine watching as you and your loved ones carve epic turns on groomers & bumps finished to perfection by an around-the-clock snowmaking team as you surreptitiously venture off into hidden glades, secret chutes and side country stashes that empty into Smugglers’ Notch, the famous route for rum runners during Prohibition. Not unexpectedly, Stowe’s mountain experience has been reimagined to help keep you safe this season. Below you will find the most important information for planning your winter ski getaway.
