Our accommodations include everything from standard rooms with one or two beds to suites with kitchens and fireplaces. Some of our best assets include our location (close to many shops and restaurants as well as quite spot along the West Branch River), glass enclosed pool, fitness room, complimentary breakfast, 8- lane bowling lounge and 18-hole miniature golf course (summer).

Housekeeping Attendant

About this Position

The Sun & Ski Inn and Suites is a fun and friendly workplace seeking experienced dependable Housekeeping Attendants to join our team! You will be preforming a variety of cleaning activities with the goal of creating an orderly and welcoming environment for all guests and visitors. Our rooms are kept up to date, continuously maintained, and meticulously cared for.  We expect that you will complete tasks timely with integrity and an eye for detail. You are a motivated professional with the stamina to consistently provide the integral customer service of a freshly cleaned facility.  Your positive attitude, honesty and enthusiasm for high standards reflect Sun & Ski’s values and promote the company’s reputation.   • Daily cleaning, organizing and restocking of guest rooms and public areas
  • Basic housekeeping duties include: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, polishing, trash removal, windows, and bathroom disinfecting and sanitation
  • Linen care, washing, folding and replenishment
  • Inspect and prepare guest rooms for arrivals and stays according to hotel guidelines
  • Deep cleaning of hotel rooms twice per year
  • Report all guest concerns and maintenance issues immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor
  • Maintain company safety guidelines and procedures

Skills & Qualifications

  • 1+ years housekeeping or related experience
  • Detail-oriented with ability to prioritize and manage time
  • Self-motivated and cooperative. Perform tasks with minimal supervision or as teammate
  • Problem solving and decision making
  • Customer service and high-quality standards
  • Ability to perform general physical tasks including lifting, bending, walking, and materials handling

Line Cook 

About this Position

We are seeking a line cook whose ultimate goal is to provide a fresh, tasteful and attractive looking food dish in a timely fashion. A positive team-oriented attitude is key to contributing to our fun and productive operations. This line cook position will be trained to complete service for both AM and PM shifts and will assist with special events and parties when necessary. While the line cook does not always come into contact with the customer, customer service and satisfaction should always be at top of mind in terms of his or her appearance, hygiene, and interactions with guests. The success and enjoyment of working at our establishment is dependent on the staff person’s ability to live and work by principles of honesty and mutual respect.


  • Set up stations and collect all necessary supplies to prepare menu. Service duties include: Breakfast, Brunch, Dinner, Parties and Special Events 
  • Prepare a variety of foods that meet company standards on quality and timeliness of service
  • Arrange sauces and supplementary garnishes for allocated station
  • Cover, date and correctly store all bits and pieces and food prep items
  • Notify Kitchen Manager in advance of likely shortages
  • Serve menu items compliant with established standards
  • Use food preparation tools in accordance with manufactures instructions
  • Maintain a prepared and sanitary work area at all times
  • Keep the work area fresh all through the shift
  • Make sure all storage areas are tidy and all products are stored appropriately
  • Constantly use safe and hygienic food handling practices
  • Returns dirty food preparation utensils to the appropriate areas
  • Assist with all duties as assigned by Kitchen Manager
  • Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through dish machine
  • Close the kitchen correctly and follow the closing checklist for kitchen stations
