Winter Carnival Hockey Tournament - First weekend in January
This event is organized by Stowe Youth Hockey annually for Bantam, PeeWee and Squirt teams. The tournament games are held at the Stowe Arena in the Stowe Village.
Stowe Winter Carnival - Middle of January
A time honored tradition in Stowe, this event has been running for over 40 years. The theme changes yearly. The ice carving competition is one of the most popular events during the Carnival. Other events are held around town such as live music, broomball and snowgolf.
Winter Rendezvous - Third weekend in January
A ski and winter activity weekend for LGBTQ enthusiasts. The weekend highlights outdoor activities, parties and entertainment events.
Spruce Peak Performing Arts Ballet Events and More - Last weekend in January
Spruce Peak Performing Arts hosts a ballet performance in the last weekend of January. Past shows included Romeo and Juliet and Cinderalla. Check out their website for many more performances throughout the year.
Stowe Derby - Third or last weekend in February
It is called the oldest downhill-cross country ski race in North America. Participants ski from the top of Mount Mansfield to the center of the Stowe Village on ONE pair of skis. The race organizers recently added a fat bike race to the mix as well!
